I want to be able to display a roadmap of planned, in progress and shipped ideas. This will help people see easily which features to expect in the near future.

I want to be able to display a roadmap of planned, in progress and shipped ideas. This will help people see easily which features to expect in the near future.
Have a look at the 'Now, next, later' style of roadmaps to communicate a very high level timeline.
I think this needs to be some sort of visual timeline as opposed to just a straight up list of columns. Having context of when you can expect to get your hands on new features and bug fixes would be nice for a customer.
